We are one of the largest manufacturers in the production of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and mechanical grabs in China. This clamshell grab is a kind of special grab with liners for mud, nickel ore, bentonite, clay and other sticky materials.

Special scoop design with scraper blades for enhancing handling efficiency:

We have made improvement on the structure of common long-brace bulk grab. What’s most important is that it adds a set of scraper blades for our nickel ore grab. The scraper blades are separately installed in two peels of the bucket. Connected by the synchronizing mechanism, two scraper blades can work synchronously.
When grabbing materials, the peels on both sides close downwards and the scraper blade moves upwards along the peels in an almost constant track, without influencing grabbing nickel material. When the grab unloads the material, the body opens upwards and the scraper blade moves downwards along the peel to scrape all the nickel minerals on the inner wall.

Nickel Ore Grab Advantages:

This design minimizes the resistance during material handling process and also makes it easier to unload sticky materials, like clay and mud.
